Castlegate Coach House offers luxury self-catering accommodation for up to 4 people. It is a Grade 2 listed building, which has recently completed extensive renovations (2007). It stands with in the grounds of Castlegate House (the owner’s residence) and both properties are believed to date from 1845; having been commissioned by a prominent local landowning family.

Located on the picturesque street of Castlegate, the cottage is a short stroll from Pickering town centre, which offers a variety of excellent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. As the name of street infers, Pickering Castle is also very close-by, as is the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway.

The property is non-smoking throughout, and is dog-friendly. It has a separate access from that of the main house, and off-street, private parking for 2 cars is reserved for guests. We also offer free, unlimited, WiFi access and free phone calls to national landline numbers (up to 1 hour at a time).
