Castlegate Coach House Holiday Cottage Details

Castlegate Coach House Holiday Cottage is a beautifully restored grade 2 listed coach house in an excellent central location of Pickering offering comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to four people.

It has an open-plan layout on the ground floor, comprising of a large kitchen/diner, and cosy living room with a wood-burning stove. French windows lead out from the living room on to an enclosed courtyard area with outside table and chairs.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with twin beds) and a bathroom with a bath with shower.

The property is non-smoking throughout, and dog-friendly (we have dogs ourselves). Off-street, private parking for one car is reserved for guests. We also offer free, unlimited WiFi access.

Our cottage is especially popular with our regular returning guests (some of whom have been visiting us since we opened in 2008) because of its excellent central location on a quiet street in Pickering town centre. This allows you to walk to lovely shops, cafes, restaurants and visitor attractions such as the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and Pickering Castle.

The cottage stands in the grounds of our house (Castlegate House) and both properties are believed to date back to 1845 having been commissioned by a prominent land owning family.
