A joy to stay in, warm and spacious, a good base to explore the area and a kind warm welcome from Sara. R C Hann- family butchers- on Smiddy Hill was a great find. The large steak pie is the best we've ever had. Do not leave without buying one.

Sara your little cottage is a delight. Much more than just a base its a true home from home. Beautiful furnishing, luxury bedding, good quality appliances and a wonderful new bathroom make it a pleasure to be in- especially in bad weather. Lovely cottage in a great location. We have had a lovely time revisiting the North York Moors; all helped by wonderful weather. The log burner was a welcome addition for chilly evenings. Can't recommend the cottage highly enough

Were meant to be in Egypt for our honeymoon, but changed to here during Corona. Cannot think of a nicer place I'd rather be holed up in the UK. Fully equipped, lots to do locally, clean and charming cottage. Good correspondence off host, Lucy.
